Sound of mother crying.
Sound of rain tapping against the window.
Matthew is lying in bed whilst speaking on the phone to his parents.
MATTHEW
I'm fine. It's raining so I'll probably just have an early...
Signal cuts from phone
MATTHEW
*sighs*
Matthew begins to fall asleep. False scare of a shadow.
Dream of flashback begins.
Carrie stands at the end of the bed setting up to hang herself.
CARRIE
*sings lullaby*
Matthew falls out of bed asleep and wakes up on the floor to then look up and see nothing. Matthew gets back into bed and drifts to sleep.
CARRIE
*sings lullaby*
Matthew turns around, confused, to see whose singing. Carrie disappears.
MATTHEW
*sighs with relief*
Matthew turns to look up at his ceiling... Carrie is hanging above, staring at Matthew.
