Story Board

This is my story board. the story board will help me visualise what the filming will look like, and i will use it to refer to as i am filming, so i know what scenes need to be done and so i don't lose the plot of the story.

the first scene is an interior scene, where character one is walking in to the room, while on their phone. this shot will be a crane-long shot while panning until the person sits down. The second shot, will be character one, sitting down on their phone and this will be an over the shoulder medium shot. the third shot is a follow up of the second shot, as its a  POV close up of the phone, where you can see the text sending to character two.

The fourth shot shot is also an interior shot but in the corridor, where character two has just received the text and starts to walk to where he has been called. This shot will be a crabbing long shot of the person.
The fifth shot carries on the walk of character two, but they don't start in the shot they have to walk in to it, as they walking past the camera. This will be a low angle shot and will last until character is a couple of meters from the door they will enter. the sixth shot is of character two opening the door, but like shot five, the character will walk in to the shot and them open the door and walk in. this shot will be a medium shot and the camera will not move, as the character walks towards them and in to the camera.

then following on from scene seven is the, dialogue between the two characters, and is constantly changing from, shot reverse shot and, with some close ups to show the characters emotion. but overall this shows how the storyboard will help the producer visualise what the filming is going to to look like and this can be also used as a reference point when filming, to help not just the producer but the rest of the crew so they can also see what the producer is thinking.

Man of Steel Movie CLIP - What's The S Stand For? (2013) - Superman Movi...

This is a good example of of the camera shot 'match on action'.
The producers uses this shot to show a conversation, or interrogation between the reporter and superman.

At points of this scene the camera zooms in, this is done to shows the emotion of the characters faces.
this is a shot where they go slightly closer to the character. As you can see, there is more detail in the face and your able to see the their emotion in more detail.

then on other occasions the camera zooms out, this gives the audience, a chance to see the characters body language as a lot of how the character is feeling is shown in there body language, for example if their shoulders are broad and their chest is out it shows confidence and power where as if they look with drawn and small the are most-likely uncomfortable with their situation, these examples show, how the framing of the portrait
effects the view of the audience on a certain scene.

Me as a consumer of Media

There are many different ways in which i use media, and and in the modern day you find media has been adapted, for its consumers to make it more accessible to the public. This is why you may find that most of media is interlinked, from social media sites to television.

In my case it is also similar, as i a access a lot of my media through methods which, could be described as contrasting. for example i do not only use my television to watch the everyday programmes, like Eastenders and the news as is the norm. in the current age we are able to access the radio, and music, this is way to mediums have been combined. another way i use my television is to connect it with my PlayStation, this allows to have Internet access through my television, and uses systems like iplayer which allows me to watch programs which i might have missed on the normal television, if i they have not been recorded. This all so shows the like between the television and Internet which is another form of media. Another way i use my television is to watch films, which are now easier to access because of the various film channels which have been added to the televisions, and through Sky's on demand services and you are able to rent and buy films to save and watch through the television.

Radio is a small but i feel it is also essential part of my daily life. i use the radio to wake me up to go to school, but also to entertain myself during long car journeys and when I am bored.  i usually access the radio through the normal traditional form, but at times when i do not have access to this i can use my mobile phone, through Internet access, this allows me to also use a form of radio called DAB, this opens a wider variety of channels, like radio one xtra.

Personal i do not usually use print media like news papers and magazines as it bores me to be honest, so i usually find my news information online and through television, but even online i am still reading the news on the screen.

The largest form of media i use is internet. this is because you can easily access all the outhere forms of media throught this one form. i am able to use the internet to watch television on my laptop, playstation, mobile phone and tablet. as the internet has grown sites like netflix, iplayer to let me watch television and film. Sites like tunein allow you to listen to both norm and digital radio, i also use the internet instead of buying newspapers and magazines, to replace a lot of my print media access. the internet has also enhansed my music listening, as now I can download music through sites like itunes.

But most of all i use internet through my phone and laptop, for social media sites like instagram, facebook and twitter as my phone is constantly loged on to let me staying in touch with my friends activites, ,aking it the most crucial part of my meadia activities.
